James Pearson

James Lee Pearson was born on March 15, 1987 in Carbondale, Illinois to Robert and Linda (McCormack) Pearson. He was the youngest boy of 7 siblings.

James grew up in Norfolk, NE. He graduated from Columbus High School in Columbus, NE in 2005. After high school James spent his life working in construction. He spent almost 10 years at Roloff Construction and most recently Sean Negus Construction.

James became a proud father in 2012 to Azalea and was blessed with Camellia in 2015. Being a father was his greatest gift. James devoted his life to raising his daughters, he loved and cherished every moment he had with them. James enjoyed doing activities with his daughters such as Top Golf, amusement parks, 4-wheeling, and shopping. When they were making those memories, their lives were fulfilled.

Before James was a father, he was actually known as the #1 uncle. He was always there through all life events for his nieces and nephews. He cherished the relationships he had built with them.

In James’ free time he enjoyed being out with his friends on the river and 4-wheeling. He also enjoyed going to comedy shows with friends and family. James was very committed and loyal to the people that he knew and cared about. James is remembered for his contagious smile and his sense of humor. He was a kind hearted and giving person even through his mental health struggles.

James is preceded in death by eldest brother Robert Lee Pearson Jr.

He will be missed by his daughters Azalea and Camellia; parents Robert Pearson and Linda McCormack; siblings Linda Pearson, Walter (Stephanie) Pearson, Kenny (Kaylyn) Pearson, Paula Pearson, Mary (Jeremiah) Morganite, Jada (Chris) Godfrey; nieces and nephews Walter Jr, Eric Jr., Octavius, Ericka, Kenny Jr., Jazmine, Kingston, Sienna, and Orion; dog companion Lilly; and many other family members and life long friends.

Memorials are suggested to a private fund for his daughters.
