Jeffrey P. Cox

Jeffrey Cox, 55, passed away on December 4, 2024, in Omaha, NE. He is survived by his mother, Elaine Cox; sisters, Pamela Chapman, Debra Merlitti; and a host of other loving family and friends.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffery Paul Cox, 55, who was born on August 22, 1969, and passed away on December 4, 2024. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Jeffery was the son of Paul and Elaine Cox. He is survived by his sisters Pamela Chapman and Debra Merlitti; five nieces; and nephews.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Paul Cox; his sister, Constance Cox; his brother Richard Cox; and his aunt, Mary Menke.

In 1987, Jeff graduated from North High School. Jeff served as the managing electrician for his family's electrical business, where he was proud to be a licensed electrician. Jeff loved fishing and spoke about trips to Florida often.

Jeff’s life revolved around his love and devotion to his loved ones. He gave everything he had to support his family. His kindness extended beyond his immediate family, positively impacting the lives of all who knew him, including his numerous friends.

A graveside service to honor Jeff's life will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery on May 27, 2025, at 2:30 PM. Upon entering Forest Lawn Cemetery, you will notice a procession of cars lined up immediately after the entrance. We invite all who knew and loved him to join us in celebrating a remarkable life filled with love, generosity, and kindness.
