Jesus Guerrero

November 27, 1943 — January 6, 2026

Jesus Guerrero, 82, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026, in Omaha, Nebraska.

Jesus was born on November 27, 1943, in Agua Zarca, Zacatecas, to Refugio Guerrero and Antonia Soto. From an early age, he carried with him a deep appreciation for family, hard work, and perseverance—values that guided him throughout his life.

He found love and married, Ana Gomez de Guerrero, in Los Angeles. Together, they built a life grounded in love, commitment, and devotion to family. Jesus was a proud and loving father to his three daughters, Judith Briseno, Janet Rosas, and Dianna Guerrero, and a devoted grandfather to Fidel Paramo and Abigail Briseno, who brought him immense joy.

Jesus was best known for his love of gardening, music, and, of course, fútbol. Whether tending to his plants, enjoying his favorite songs, or passionately following the game, these simple pleasures brought him happiness and peace. Above all, he will be remembered for his kindness, resilience, and the deep love he shared with those around him. His remarkable strength and determination to fight and survive the unimaginable were a true testament to his character and an inspiration to all who knew him.

Jesus is survived by his beloved wife, Ana Gomez de Guerrero; his daughters; and his cherished grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly and who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his father, Refugio Guerrero, and his mother, Antonia Soto.

Memorial donations may be made in Jesus’s name to Ana M Gomez de Guerrero.
