John Anthony Smith

John Smith, 65, passed away on July 8, 2026, in Omaha, NE.

John was preceded in death by his parents Velma and Louis Smith Sr., and his siblings Cindy Smith, Joanne Smith, Karen Johnson, Louis Smith Jr., and Herman Smith. He is survived by his sisters: Fern Smith, Linda Smith, Shannon Smith, and Stephanie Smith-Barnes (Sean) from Omaha; brothers: Robert Smith from Omaha and Kenneth Smith of Bremerton, WA; Sister-in-Law Shirley Smith, Sister-in-Love Lorraine Jackson, Sister-in-Love Renee Baker-Harris, family friend Vanessa Barnes; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home - 90th Chapel - from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. The Celebration will be livestreamed below.
