John Patrick Cahill. January 3, 1947 - May 18, 2026. Preceded in death by parents Don and Audrey, sister Judy Darrington, brother Michael Cahill, niece Stacia (Kiger) Siemer, and brother-in-law Raymond Kiger. Survived by wife Colleen Haley, sister-in-law, Diane (Haley) Kiger, nephews Eric (Angela) Kiger, Seth Kiger, and Nick Kiger, and several great nieces and nephews. John also leaves behind numerous life-long friends. In addition to being a past President of the Omaha Softball Association (OSA) for many years, John spent his adult life in the criminal justice field, working for the State of Nebraska and then successfully operating a half-way house for the Federal Government for 25 years. In keeping with John's wishes, a service will not be held. A private interment will be planned at Calvary Cemetery in Omaha at a later date. The family is deeply grateful for your prayers; please utilize your favorite charities for any memorials.
