John William Stoops passed away August 22, 2026 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 60 years. He was born October 28, 1965 in Keokuk, Iowa.
John is preceded in death by his parents, William and Josephine Stoops; and brothers Ronald Stoops and Jeff Stoops.
He is survived by his fiance, Angel Rasmussen; brothers Randy (Susan) Stoops and Roger (Mary) Stoops; sisters Sandy Richeson, Linda (Robert †) Moretti, Phyllis Lauber, and Cheryl (Chawn †) Brown; children Tara, Joshua, and John; and grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family.
John William Stoops brought laughter, love, and compassion. He was an amazing man who loved so much. He always found his way into people's hearts.
Celebration of Life will be held October 3rd on Saturday at 1pm. Lake Zorinzky Park, Zorinsky shelter 3. Omaha Nebraska
