Johnnie "Paulette" Paulette Reed

Johnnie Paulette Conway-Reed, age 72 passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at UNMC, surrounded by family. She was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on January 20, 1951, to parents Ike Conway Sr and Burnice Conway. She moved with her family to Omaha, Nebraska at a young age.

Johnnie attended Tech High School and later moved to Minnesota, with her husband Alvin Sauls. She worked as a Chef in Minnesota for over 10 years. She later moved back to Omaha to be close to family. She loved the Lord and was baptized. Her favorite scripture was the Twenty-Third Psalm.

Johnnie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Essie Conway and Cleo Conway; maternal grandparents: Spencer Reed and Ola Reed-Young; step-grandfather: Leslie Young; husband-Alvin Sauls; nephew: Lucious Cappel Curtis Conway. She leaves to cherish her memory: father: Ike Conway Sr, mother: Burnice Conway; daughter: Lisa M. Green; grandchildren: Anthony D. Green (Sharetta), Stephanie D. Green-Dortch, great-grandchildren: Jamarion J. Dortch, Anthony D. Carter, ShiLiric English, Lania Wesley, NaLaya R. Dortch, JordanAnthony D. Green, Jordyn Williams, and Dylan P. Dortch; siblings: Ike Conway Jr, Donald Conway (Jacqueline), Jeanette Davis, Allen Conway (Edna), Gerald Conway, Charlette Hudson (Charles), Randy Conway. She also, leaves to cherish her love and memory a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
