Joseph Patrick Gaines

Joe Gaines, age 60, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022 due to complications related to cancer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Mary Ann Gaines, his brother Clifford "Sonny", and sister Dorothy.

He is survived by brothers David, Douglas, and Timothy and sisters Janet and LeMay (Wade), and many other family and friends.

He was a proud graduate of Benson High School and spent years serving his community in a variety of roles. The uniting theme of all his employment was that he always left with lifelong friends. He was a generous and loving friend, brother, uncle, and partner.

Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers or for those considering memorial contributions, please consider donating to the University of Nebraska Medical Center Buffett Cancer Center.

He will be greatly and forever missed.
