Judy May Wacker-Smith

Judy May Wacker-Smith passed away with her family by her side on February 20th, 2026 at the age of 73 years old. She will be dearly missed by her husband Dr. Bobby L Smith, son Bronson Wacker, daughter Shylo Harkness, grandson Willy Harkness, brother John Reimers, sister Sandy Reimers, and sister Cindy Reimers, as well as numerous relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Herman Reimers, mother Ida Reimers, and former husband Bill Wacker.

Judy was born in Omaha on July 15th, 1952 and graduated from Bryan High school in 1970. Judy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a help meet to her husband Bobby as she helped him with so many things. She was an active member in her church community being baptized at Morning Star Baptist Church. She was installed as first lady at Fellowship Christian Baptist Church with her husband on January 28th, 2024. She loved and was beloved by her congregation and always surrounded by children. She was monkey Judy to her grandson, Willy. She was hardworking and loved both education and children. She loved animals, especially her special dog Angel and her cat Tiger. She had a big heart, was protective, fun, curious, stubborn, and religious. She made friends wherever she went and was sure to have a big smile for those that she loved. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
