Kathleen K. "Kat" Kristy

Kathleen K Kristy ( Kat ) 63, passed peacefully September 4, 2026. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Paul, J and Janet E Kristy of Omaha.

She is survived by her partner Stacey Thomas, her son Jeremy, Sister Kay Gavin ( Alan ), nephew Jared Dee, lifelong friend Lori Saunders.

We are blessed to have had her in our lives and she will be missed especially her rule of 22, her sense of humor, and her sarcasm.

The candle’s but a little thing

it starts with just a bit of string

yet dipped and dipped by patient hand it gathers wax upon the strand

until complete and snowy white

it gives at last a lovely light.

Life seems so like that bit of string

each deed we do, a simple thing

Yet day by day, if on life’s strand

We work with patient heart and hand

it gathers Joy, makes dark days bright and gives at last a lovely light.
