Kavon was born in Omaha, Nebraska on July 2, 2009.

Kavon began his education at Franklin Elementary School, where he attended from Kindergarten through 6th grade. A bright and dedicated student, he went on to Buffett Middle School for 7th and 8th grade, where he was active in football, robotics, and took part in the unforgettable New York City class trip.

Throughout his school years, Kavon excelled both academically and athletically. He earned 1st place in the State BMX competition and placed in multiple other events. His accomplishments also included the Academic Achievement Award for the African American Well Educated Student, multiple Perfect Attendance Awards, the Student of Distinction Award, and the Amazing Artist and Excellent Student Award.

Kavon attended Burke High School, where he played football. He was also a dedicated member of the GB3 basketball team for many years. Kavon had an interest in aviation and was studying to become a pilot.

Beyond his achievements, Kavon brought joy to everyone around him. He loved spending time with his brother playing PS5, driving his Chevy Malibu, creating TikTok videos and reels, dancing, and sharing his artistic talents through drawing. Outgoing, kind-hearted, and full of life, Kavon had a gift for making people smile and showed unconditional love to everyone he met.

Kavon will be remembered for his energy, creativity, and the light he brought to the lives of family, friends, teammates, and classmates. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Kavon will be deeply missed by his mom and dad; siblings Qemond, Harmony, Rashad, Demetrion, Demetrius, Dessie, Remi, and Kong; grandparents Steve Hahn and Tammy Sapp; many other aunts, uncles, cousins, chosen family members and special friends.
