Kellie Jean Fletcher, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, mother, and friend, passed away on June 24, 2025, at the age of 38 in Omaha, Nebraska. Born on November 4, 1986, in El Monte, California, Kellie's journey through life was marked by resilience, kindness, and an unwavering spirit

Adopted by Carl and Terry Fletcher in 1992, Kellie was raised in Bellevue, Nebraska, where she graduated from Bellevue West High School in 2005. In 2009, she embraced her faith through baptism, dedicating her life to Christ. Kellie's greatest joy was her son, David, whom she loved dearly and was immensely proud of.

Kellie's life was defined by her commitment to overcoming personal challenges. In 2023, she completed her final recovery program, remaining sober for the rest of her life—a testament to her determination and courage. She was involved in various recovery programs and AA/NA groups, where she touched countless lives with her compassion and kindness. She was known for her humility, always ready to share her experiences to support others in their struggles with sobriety and mental health.

Kellie's personality was a beautiful blend of resilience, kindness, and humor. Despite facing significant personal challenges, if you ever needed her she was always there with no hesitation, bringing smiles and comfort to those around her. Her unique spirit was truly one of a kind, spreading joy and laughter wherever she went. Her silly, yet gentle nature, along with her unwavering loyalty, made her a cherished friend and a beacon of hope for many. As a youth she loved playing basketball, singing & dancing. Later on she discovered her love and passion for cooking, and she was great at it! Her friends and family will remember her as a loyal and kind person with a beautiful heart and a playful spirit

Kellie is survived by her beloved son, David Gage Fletcher; Her parents, Terry and Carl Fletcher and her siblings, David, Thomas, Rebecca, and Tim Fletcher. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and greats. Her family and friends will forever cherish the memories of her beautiful heart and kind spirit.

In her memory, we reflect on the words of Luke 15:3-7 and Isaiah 40:28-31, scriptures that embody her journey. they remind us of the joy in redemption and the strength found in faith. Kellie’s life was a testament to these truths, and she will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A funeral service to honor Kellie's life will be held at LifeSpring Church in Bellevue, NE, on Thursday, July 3rd, from 6:00 to 8:30 pm.
