Kimberly Dale

July 18, 1962 — January 3, 2026

Kimberly Jayne Dale (Anderson), age 63, passed away on January 3, 2026. She was born on July 18, 1962, and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, to Robert W. Anderson and Jayne L. Anderson.

Kimberly grew up alongside her brothers, Scott (Jennifer) and John, and remained one of their biggest supporters throughout her life. She was known as their greatest fan in the stands at the racetrack, always present, always proud.

Kimberly was a woman with a strong will, a sharp mind, and a deeply rooted soul. Fiercely independent, she lived life on her own terms and expected honesty, grit, and heart from the people around her. She was married to David Brian Dale, with whom she had two children, Christine and Max Dale.

Kimberly dedicated her working life to the school bus company, beginning her career at just 18 years old as a school bus driver. Through years of hard work and commitment, she worked her way into roles as a dispatcher and later in payroll. She was valued and respected for her reliability, knowledge, and strong work ethic, and she took pride in the responsibility entrusted to her.

Family was the center of Kimberly’s world. One of her most cherished roles was being a grandmother. She shared a special bond with her first grandson, Rowdy, and deeply loved all of her grandchildren: Rowdy and Jax Dale, children of Christine Dale, and Millie Dale, daughter of Max (Michaela) Dale. She was family-oriented in the truest sense, showing up, staying involved, and loving hard.

Kimberly had a kind and deeply loving heart, paired with a nonjudgmental and open mind. She had a sharp, unmistakable sense of humor, and if she gave you a hard time, it meant she cared. If she didn’t, that told you everything. She would help anyone that needed help, no matter who they were or where they came from, in any way she could.

After the loss of her husband, David, Kimberly later remarried. Through that chapter of her life, she gained many more valuable family members whom she loved deeply and welcomed wholeheartedly, expanding her family in the way only she could.

Kimberly Jayne Dale will be remembered for her loyalty, her humor, her fierce love for her family, her dedication to her work, and her unwavering willingness to stand by the people she cared about. Her presence was powerful, her love was real, and she will be deeply missed.
