Laron Ray Hodges

LaRon Ray Hodges was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Arthur Smith and Linda Hodges on December 1, 1983. He was the third born of eight children. He departed this life on March 10, 2023.

LaRon attended Saratoga Elementary here in Omaha and finished his schooling in Lincoln, Nebraska where he obtained his high school diploma. LaRon also received the title of State Heavy Weightlifting Champion in Lincoln. Some of LaRon's proudest moments were receiving his state barbering license and having his own detail shop.

He was devoted son, visiting his mom daily, and always coming with some kind of gift. LaRon will be affectionately remembered for his smile.

LaRon was preceded in death by his father Arthur Smith; grandparents Seymore Sr. and Beatrice Hodges; uncles Seymore Hodges Jr and Joseph Hodges; cousins Sharay, Cornelius, and Samuel Hodges.

LaRon leaves to cherish his memory his mother Linda Hodges; children Kentrell Hubbard and A'Kashia Franklin; siblings Prentice, Curtis, Kayressa, Michael, Latif, Patrick, and William; and host of other family and friends.
