Preceded in death by his parents, Erwin and Marie Nemitz and brother Steve McKeone.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Roberta Nemitz; daughter Anita (Martin) Hernandez; sons Tim (Danielle) Nemitz, John Hernandez, and Orville McKee; sister Kathy; brothers Ken, Kevin, Randy, and Fred; grandchildren Matthew, Lyssa, Loretta, Jesse, Javier, and John; great-grandchildren Jeromy, and Isaias; many nieces, nephews, and others.
