LaToya was born on Wednesday November 18, 1981. LaToya accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. Mark Baptist Church by Rev. Adam L Burton. She served on the Jr. Usher Board and sang with the children choir under Br. Dwayne Holmes and Sister Vickie Quaites.
LaToya received her education from Sacred Heart Catholic School and North High where she graduated. She continued her education at Metro Community College. She had a love for children and animals. She began working at PenFed Credit Union at their Omaha Branch before transitioning to assist with operations at their San Antonio Branch.
LaToya departed this life on Tuesday, March 18,2025 while living in San Anton, Texas. She had plans of returning home (Omaha) on April 20th 2025 but God had another Plan.
She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Wesley Henry and Anita and John Q. and Bennie Adams. Aunt Frances Adams, Uncle John E. Adams.
She leaves to cherish her memories – Mother Melinda (Mr. Jimmy), Sisters – Temeshia and Andrea Qualls. (Omaha, NE) Brothers – Deontae Rush (Omaha, NE) and Devron Rush (Stella) (Kentucky). Aunts – Patrice Adams (KC, MO.), Joyce Adams – Omaha, NE. Uncles Eddie Adams (Regina), Steve Adams (Janet) – Omaha, NE., Tim Adams-FL. Great Aunts and Uncles: Tommie Adams (Wilda), Bertha Williams- Omaha, Ernestine Akon- MS, Paul T. Qualls- WI. Godchild – Ronell Scott-Buffkins. Dear friend Barbara Sanders and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Very special nephews: De’Andre Q. T. Qualls and Quayshawn T. D. Qualls.
