Laura Estella Virginia Clark

Laura Estella Virginia Clark was born in Battlecreek, Michigan on January 22, 1943. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 9, 2025.

Laura grew up in Michigan. After retiring from the Bilingual Department for the State of Michigan, she moved to Mesilla, New Mexico. There she made and sold authentic, handmade porcelain dolls. She was so successful people from all of the world would come to purchased them.

Laura loved life and loved to meet new people. She often traveled with her daughter, Sofronia. They traveled all over: New York, Argentina, Mexico. Anywhere they could.

Lastly and most importantly, Laura served faithfully as one of Jehovah's Witness's since 1971.

Laura is preceded in death by her parents, James & Adelaide Clark; sisters, Minnie Mae Andrew-Clark, Margaret Andrew-Clark, Diana Marie Clark, Adelaide Clark; brothers, James Edward Clark, Jr., herman Clark-Crump, John Frank Clark and Robert Zechariah Clark.

Laura is survived by her children, Andre D. Clark, Sofronia I. Jackson and Moreno L. Jackson; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; niece Patricia Clark and a host of other loving family and friends.

A special thank you to her daughter Sofronia who traveled with her mother and took care of her in her later years.
