Linda "Nina" Christensen

Linda “Nina” Christensen, age 72, passed away peacefully at home in Bellevue, Nebraska on October 23, 2025. She was born on December 24, 1952, to Thelma Christensen and Clifford Morrow.

Nina enjoyed good food shared with friends and family and loved making the holidays special for everyone around her. She appreciated a good story, whether found in a book or on television. Throughout her career in IT and Operations, Nina took pride in breaking barriers as one of the few women in a male-dominated industry. She also found deep meaning and community through her faith and church family.

However, Nina’s greatest commitment was to her family. In the absence of their parents, she lovingly raised her nephews, Barry and Robby, providing them with stability, guidance, and unconditional love. Her nurturing spirit and devotion shaped the lives of those she cared for most.

Preceded in death by parents, Thelma Christensen and Clifford Morrow; and siblings, Key Christensen, Coven Christensen, and Holliday “Holly” Willey.

Survived by nephews, Barry (Tiffany) Settle and Robert Willey; great-niece and nephews, Zia Wilson, Za’Ryan Wilson, and Zamari Settle; stepsister, Cheryl Christensen; and sister-in-law, Belinda Christensen.

Her favorite verse was 1 Corinthians 13:13 — “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

A celebration of life will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, November 8th, at Venture Church. 7505 Chandler Acres Dr, Bellevue, NE 68147. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Nina's name to the church.
