Lisa Renee Valentine was born in Omaha, NE to the late Albert Jr and Shirley Valentine. She accepted Christ at an early age at the Bethel Baptist Church. Lisa attended Indian Hill School from Kdg to 9th grade. Then she went on to Bryan High School. Lisa was very smart and all her accolades prove it. Lisa attended Metropolitan Community College and received her Associate degree, but she didn’t stop there. Lisa worked various jobs throughout Omaha, NE; She then went on to receive a Bachelors degree in social work by attending online classes through the University of Phoenix, therefore she became a Social Worker for DHHS. At the time of her passing she was attending an internship to become a counselor and received many certificates pertaining to counseling. In 2002 she met and married her husband Everesto Musekiwa (Knox). To this union her only daughter was born Tinotenda (Tino) Musekiwa. She was a great mother of 4 sons and a daughter, a grandmother of 12, a great sister to have, very devoted to God for over 30 years, loved her family and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her late parents, Albert Jr and Shirley Jean Valentine, her grandmother who raised her (Dorothy Lee Williams), and her grandfather and grandmother (Albert Sr. and Edna Valentine).
She leaves to cherish her memories of her 4 sons, Dontavious Valentine, Bruce Valentine, Dae Jerron Valentine, and TaiVian Valentine, and her daughter Tinotenda Musekiwa; her grandchildren, Deona Valentine, Cierra Landrum, Cymone Landrum, Deion Landrum, Osha Valentine, LaMont Valentine, Zayden Valentine, Amir Valentine, and Amirykal Valentine; sisters, Angela Valentine, LaWanda (Gene) Valentine-Williams, Pepsi Valentine, Yolanda Longcrowe; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
