The Teague family's youngest daughter of seven children is now reunited with her parents Tennis and Mattie Teague, siblings, Jimmy, Cleo, Herbert, Kenneth & Fay as well as with beloved granddaughter Shelby LaRene Simpson.

Lounette married Forrest Hughes who served in the USAF, and the family relocated many times. One significant location was Hawaii where a creative vein blossomed into the committed hobbies of oil/watercolor painting, fine jewelry & craftwork for the remainder of her life. She loved painting the crashing waves of the North Shore and collecting shells or large corals to make candles & necklaces. The islands calming beauty remained in her heart.

Living in Nebraska in the late 70's, Lounette stood out as a pioneer by successfully becoming location and regional manager for several retail outlets over 25 years. Building relationships along the way at Standard Blueprint, Jaccards Jewelry, Fredericks of Hollywood and Keystone Drugstore. She then took on the challenge of becoming a Pharmacy Technician with Clarkson Hospital before retiring in 2003.

Lounette is survived by her brother Charles Teague (Evelyne Teague) her children, Lorraine Simpson and Forrest M. Hughes (Lee Ann Cooney), her grandchildren, Joshua Hughes, Alexandra Hughes, Walker Simpson & Wyatt Simpson. Also, her loyal companions Kiki & Hermoine.

Lounette was admired for her strength and spirituality; well known as a gracious Southern lady. She has left a void that could never be filled.
