Lucille Elizabeth Holmes – Boults, 94 years old, was born on November 10th, 1931 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Frank and Floneller Holmes.
At an early age, her family moved to Omaha, Nebraska. After moving to Omaha, her family united with Grace Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, where she dedicated her life at the age of nine to live for Christ. She was very active in Sunday School and Young People Willing Workers under the leadership of the late Bishop Monte J. Bradford. She later united with New Bethel C.O.G.I.C where she was the Usher Board President. She also served as a member of the Nebraska Jurisdiction State Usher Board for the C.O.G.I.C. Lucille received her education through the Omaha Public School system. During her high school years, she would help her mother at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center. She retired from Lucent Technology after dedicating many years of service through several corporate transitions beginning with AT&T Technology.
Lucille met and married the late Wallace Fisher. To this union two daughters were born. Lanora Dhyan Fisher and Walnetta Delane Fisher. Upon Walnetta’s passing Lucille adopted her granddaughter, Kimberly Fisher. Years later she met and married the late Raymond Boults Sr. He was her sunshine. Her favorite pass times was cooking and travelling with her family. Especially her sister Rubby and her family.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Raymond Boults Sr.; parents Frank and Floneller Holmes; sisters and brothers in law; Louise (Roscoe) Secret Sr., Clara (Ollie) Rogers Sr., Hazel (Raymond) Fowler Sr., Floneller (Duncan) Bolden Sr., Siny Lorraine Bailey; Brothers and sisters in law; Jesse Watson, Cal (Mary Smith) Holmes Sr., Edward (Senobia Bess) Holmes Sr., Larry Holmes Sr.; daughters; Lanora Dhyan Muhammad, Walnetta Delane Fisher; granddaughter / daughter Kimberly Renae Fisher – Jenkins.
She leaves to cherish fond memories; 2 sisters, Rubby Williams, Omaha, NE, Sandra Smith, Kansas City, MO; sister in law, Martha Holmes, brother in law, Randy Bailey, both of Omaha, NE; granddaughter Thenesia Conway, Bellevue, NE; 9 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends.
