Margaret Tharp

Margaret Marie Tharp, born August 10, 1966, in Norfolk NE was sent to her eternal home on March 27, 2025, in Bellevue NE.

Maggie, as she was affectionately known, was a caring administrator of any person or animal that was blessed to meet her. Her passing let a void in the hearts of family and friends.
We ask that she is remembered for that kind and nurturing soul.

Margaret is survived by her mother Lois Tharp, her daughter Rachel Cudmore, her significant other, Mark Martinez, and her siblings Ann Geary(Ron), Brian (Shelley) Tharp, Lynn Whitmore (Scott), Karen Thiele (Dave), Paula Swerczek (Mike),Song (Dean) Glover, twin Clara (Randall) Parker, Chun Tharp, and and Lora (Fritz) Busch. She was predeceased by her father Ralph Tharp Jr.

She graduated from Creighton University to become a nurse; a career suiting her compassion for others. She loved traveling, running races, and collecting medals. Those who know her remember her hilarious observations and humor.

The Celebration of Life to honor her will take place May 10, 10am at First Christian Church 6630 Dodge St Omaha, NE. The video will be broadcasted live on the church's YouTube site.

Although Margaret's physical self is no longer evident, her spirit will continue to inspire compassion of others. May her memory bring a smile as we carry forth her legacy of love in all we do.
