Maria Esperanza
Gomez de Perez
Nov 24, 1946 — Jul 28, 2026
In Loving Memory of Maria Esperanza Gomez de Perez
Maria Esperanza Perez was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and faithful woman of God. She passed away peacefully on July 28th in the home she cherished, leaving behind a lifetime of love, memories, and family who will forever carry her in their hearts.
Maria was born in Jalisco, Mexico on November 24th 1946, where her journey began. In 1965, she moved to the United States, beginning a new chapter of her life and building a future for herself and her family.
In 1972, Maria married the love of her life, beginning a beautiful marriage filled with 54 years of love, laughter, devotion, and memories. Together, they built a life and a family that became Maria's greatest joy.
Maria came from a loving family and was one of eight siblings, with two sisters and five brothers. Family was always an important part of who she was, and that love continued throughout her life.
She has reunited with her eldest son Angel Perez and leaves behind her two beloved sons, Martin Perez and Thomas Perez, who have blessed her with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Being a grandmother was one of the greatest joys of Maria's life. She loved to cook for her family, spoil her grandchildren every chance she got, and make sure the people she loved were always taken care of.
Maria was a hardworking woman who never shied away from staying busy. She enjoyed volunteering at local stores, going to work, and of course, finding time to shop. She had a way of making everyday moments meaningful and was happiest when she was doing something for the people around her.
Those who knew Maria best will remember not only her loving heart, but also her wonderful sense of humor and strong personality. Her husband Angel stated one of her favorite things to do was to tell her husband what to do-a memory that will surely bring smiles and laughter to those who loved her. She knew what she wanted, and she was never afraid to let her husband know it.
Her husband remembers that one of the things he loved most about Maria was that she wasn't only a wonderful woman, but a beautiful one-inside and out. Above all, he admired her faith and the way she believed in God. Her faith was an important part of her life and gave her strength, hope, and peace.
Maria's life was a testament to hard work, love, family, faith, and devotion. She gave so much of herself to those around her, and her love will continue through every meal she taught her family to cherish, every memory she created, every story that is told, and every grandchild and great-grandchild she spoiled with love.
Though we will deeply miss her presence, we find comfort knowing that Maria is now resting peacefully with the God she trusted throughout her life. Her earthly journey may have come to an end, but the love she gave will never fade.
Maria Esperanza Perez will forever be remembered as a beautiful woman, a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, a hardworking woman, a forgiving woman and a faithful child of God.
