Marie Midcalf

Marie Midcalf, 87, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, in Omaha, NE. She was a loving mother and grandmother who brought joy and laughter to everyone around her.

Marie was preceded in death by two children Doris Butler and Dante Midcalf; parents Felix and Lucinda Butler; one brother Jessie Butler; four sisters Lois Butler, Bertha Hawkins, Annie Mae Ervin, Lillie Butler.

She is survived by two daughters: Lavern Butler and Shawnte (Andre) Cook; grandchildren Dion, Shaylynn (John), Talia, Tahj, Brandon, Jamaur, Jarodd, Tanjanique, D’Andre, Andreya, Andre Jr.; great grandchildren Jaylin, John, Ohna, Sloane, Genieva, Aaliyah; one sister Esterlene Lee; survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends who will miss her dearly.
