Mark Richard Wilson, age 66, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on September 5, 2025.
Born and raised in Omaha, Mark graduated from Technical High School in 1979. Shortly after, he proudly served his country in the United States Army from August 1979 to August 1982 as a Private First Class Multichannel Communications Equipment Operator. His service took him to Fort Gordon, Georgia; Fort Hood, Texas; and Germany. During his time in the Army, he received the Good Conduct Medal, recognition for outstanding service to the 38th Infantry Division, and multiple certificates of achievement.
Mark had a sharp mind and a big heart. He loved music, technology, and family. He was someone you could count on for a laugh, a helping hand, or a witty comeback. He had a way of making even the toughest situations lighter, and that sense of humor is one of the many things his loved ones will miss.
Mark is survived by his siblings, Jonah Wilson, Clarence Wilson, Kenneth Wilson, Wanda Wilson, and Pearl (Wilson) Kellogg. He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Wilson, father Leroy Williams, and sister Lena Wilson.
Mark’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
