Marvin Jacobs

Marvin E Jacobs passed away April 26, 2025 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 82 years. He was born December 11, 1942 in Corning, Iowa.

Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, Clement and Goldie Jacobs; brothers Lyle Jacobs, Hubert Jacobs, Dale Jacobs, and Charles Jacobs; and sisters Helen Olson and Elizabeth Nickell.

He is survived his children Lari Ann Jacobs and Jeffrey "Shane" (Denise Wallace) Jacobs; "the woman" of 39 years, JoAnn Martin and her daughters, Kelly (Sean Gibb) Kuehl and Connie (Daniel) Vacek; grandchildren Jake Jacobs, Emily Jacobs, Danielle Kuehl, and Jocelyn Price; great-grandchildren Peyton, Laney, and Savana; and nieces, nephews, and other family.

Marvin grew up in Corning Iowa on a farm until he moved to Omaha when he was 18.

He worked at Builders Supply where he met his life long friends Dick Chilton and Doug Schmitz. Marv has 2 children Lari Ann and Shane and 2 grandchildren. He loved to snow ski, fish, hunt, play cards, and play craps til wee hours in the morning!

You could find Marvin at Grandmothers on 82nd "L" where he managed the lounge for 20 years.In the 80's he met "The Woman" and her 2 children and they shared a wonderful life together for 39 years!They enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Marvin can be remembered for: His cowboy hat, never sitting down, and Budweiser beer!Marv was a generous, kind,loyal, simple, fearless man that was his own person and he will be deeply missed!
