Mary C. Johnson, 87, passed away peacefully at her home in Fort Worth, Texas, on July 9, 2026.
Mary was born on May 24, 1939, in Ewing, Nebraska, to Frank and Minnie Miller.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Johnson; her daughter, Kimberly (Robert) Dudley; her parents, Frank and Minnie Miller; and her brothers, Robert and James Miller.
Mary is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Teresa (Dewayne) Johnson; her brother, Lenord (Barb) Miller; her sister-in-law, Coreen Miller; her grandchildren, Nicole (Luke) Dice, Machia Dudley, Amanda (Cliff) Crummey, Nathan Dudley, Cory Johnson, Jared Johnson, Jessica Johnson, and Danielle (Steffen) Foster; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Ezekiel, Zoey, Annabell, Alexander, Madelyn, and Xavier.
Mary will be remembered most for her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and her deep love for people. She had a servant's heart and was always ready to help anyone in need. If you wanted to have a conversation about Jesus, Mary was the person to seek out. She was a devoted woman of prayer whose faith guided every aspect of her life.
Strong, independent, compassionate, and deeply devoted to her family, Mary loved the Lord with all her heart. Her kindness, wisdom, and steadfast faith touched countless lives, and her legacy will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her.
Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior, reunited with those who have gone before her.
"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'"
