Michael William May

Michael May, age 71, passed away in Omaha, Nebraska, on February 17, 2026. He was born September 4, 1954 to William May and Laverne (Semian) May in East Liverpool, OH. Michael enjoyed knife making, driving and collecting his race cars, and his beloved dog, Buddy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Semian; and nephews, Bradley Slauter and Joseph Luedtke.


Michael is survived by his longtime partner, Linda Smith; son, John May; stepchildren, Sean, Bryan, and Julie Rubek; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Lynn Whitt, Cathy (Terry) Slauter, and Susie May; and a host of family and friends.
