Michael Alan Wehrbein

Michael A. Wehrbein, age 61, passed away on September 20, 2026, in Omaha, Nebraska. 

Mike was a skilled carpenter for most of his life, and later became proficient in the realm of PC repair. He was an avid Harley Davidson fanatic. He enjoyed playing all kinds of card games, mostly Skat and Poker, and was a member of the German-American Society for a time. His Lutheran faith remained strong and unwavered throughout his life. He loved his daughter, his family, and coffee. Mike will be remembered for his quick wit, unmatched humor, carpentry skills, and his ability to talk to and get along with just about anybody, making friends wherever he went. He was loved and will be missed dearly.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Helena (Josh) Renshaw; siblings, Karen (Noyes) Bartholomew, Vicky Hungerford and William "Buck" (Sandy) Wehrbein and a host of other loving family and friends. Mike is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Betty and Louis Nelson and father, William "Buck" Wehrbein, and his former wife and mother of his daughter, Barb Wehrbein (Dyer).

There will be a visitation for family and friends on Monday, September 28, 2026 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home - L Street Chapel. Visitation from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Graveside Service will follow at 3:00 pm in Blair Cemetery in Blair, Nebraska.
