Minnie R. Ellis

Minnie R. Ellis, 80, of Omaha NE, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on October 4, 2022. Her Wake will be Thursday, October 13th, 5-7pm with Funeral Services at 11:00am Friday, October 14th (viewing 10am) both at Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, burial Forest Lawn Cemetery. Minnie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She loved the Lord and served faithfully as Trustee board member and Usher of Greater New Hope MBC for over 40 years. She retired from the US Government (V.A.) with 27 years of service in 1994. She leaves to cherish her memory husband Howard L. Ellis, two daughters Tracey Edwards (Katy, Tx.) Toiya Higgins (Omaha); one Son, Derrick Hebron (Omaha), four sisters; six brothers; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
