Nancy Jo Dearing

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy Jo Dearing, aged 68, who left this world peacefully on July 23, 2026, in her lifelong home of Omaha, Nebraska. Born on March 21, 1958, Nancy filled her life with kindness, compassion, and a profound dedication to her family and community.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Bob Dearing; children, Daphne, Max and Sylvia Dearing; mother, Ann Bowsman; brother, John (Nan) Bowsman and a host of other loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, John C. Bowsman and sister, Barb Weibusch.

Nancy Jo Dearing will be deeply missed, but her spirit and legacy of love will forever live on in those whose lives she touched.

There will be a graveside service for Nancy on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 12:30 PM at Omaha National Cemetery, 14250 Schram Rd, Omaha NE 68138.
