Patricia Lamb

December 24, 1940 — December 1, 2025

Loving mother, grandmother, and friend, Patricia Ann Lamb, age 84, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025, after a brave battle with dementia. She was born in Lusk, Wyoming on December 24, 1940, to Walter and Edith Taylor. She married Edgar Lamb, on March 18, 1961, and together they raised three children.

Pat spent much of her childhood moving with her family for her father’s work in the oilfield. As a teenager she settled in Farmington, where she met Ed and built a life filled with family, community, and creativity. She worked for many years as a teller at First National Bank.

In the 1970s, Pat and Ed helped organize the first girls’ softball league in Farmington, and Pat went on to coach as well. She was beloved by her team, remembered for her encouragement, energy, and belief in every girl she coached.

Pat was also blessed with remarkable artistic talent. A gifted quilter, she had an eye for color, pattern, and detail, creating pieces that brought comfort and beauty to those around her. Her work earned numerous ribbons in quilting competitions, but her greatest joy came from sharing her quilts with family and friends. Through her creativity, she leaves behind a legacy stitched with love.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and three brothers.

Pat is survived by her children Brenda (Kenneth) Boone of Houston, Texas; Russell (Lisa) Lamb of Dallas, Texas; and Susan (Derek) Cresto of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren Natalie (Corey) Davis, Kyle Lamb, Courtney Cresto, Ashlyn Boone, Avery Lamb, and Riley Cresto; great-grandson Bennett Davis; sisters Darla Brown, Cynthia Davidson, and Debra Currier; brother Roger Taylor; as well as a large and loving extended family.

The family would like to thank all those who offered support during this time, with special gratitude to the Fountain View Memory Care staff for their compassion and care.

There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in Pat’s memory.
