Ralph Henry Jinks

Ralph Henry Jinks (Papillion, Ne) of Alliance, died Friday, May 8, 2026. Ralph was born November 10 in North Platte, Nebraska to Wilbert "Red" Jinks & Mildred "Millie" (Worley) Jinks. He graduated from Alliance High School in 1957 and served for a brief time in the U.S. Navy until his interests became focused in Sales. His career ended in retirement after over 50 years in Transportation & Logistics within the national realm of the trucking Industry. He married Juanita Partridge (Denver, Colorado) and had daughter Tasha.

Ralph led an industrious and well-travelled life, lending his heart, experience & knowledge to self help organizations & peer support groups of many various calibers while being a close friend of Bill W. Ralph shared his vast knowledge & unending enthusiasm over a plethora of environmental, avian and wildlife subjects. He took pride sharing the beauty of his numerous varieties of flowers, plants & trees. He was an avid reader of novels from Crime to Historical Fact & Fiction through Westerns and Everything in-between. A known horseman, breeder of Norwegian Elkhounds in "The Day" he had an eye towards the most aesthetic of 1950's through 1970's vehicles enjoying taking his "Pride & Joys" GTO, Le Saber Convertible and Cadillacs cruising to 50's & 60's rock-'n'-roll tunes til "... The Lion Sleeps Tonight..."

There are many Friends, Family & Colleagues who will miss the always sharply dressed "Ralphie" and were ever enamored by his true gift of public speaking & writing skill matching heartfelt stories only outdone by his sharp witted verbal sketches.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Pat McMann & her husband DVM Jerry McMann; Brenda Jinks; and his first cousin, friend & comrade – Duane and Karen Worley and and their daughter Samantha.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 59 years, Juanita and daughter, Tasha (Howard) Beals of Omaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by sisters, Sherri (LeRoy) Fry & nephew Jered, Alliance and Renee (Gene) Fredrick & nephew Zechariah (England) of Sheridan, Wyoming; nephew Jef (Jenny) McMann, Cheyenne, Wyoming; Boone (Jessica) Manion, Alliance; nephew Mike(Jolene) Manion, Omaha; nephew Shane (Monica) Manion, Roca, Nebraska; and niece Shawn Manion (Dave Lorenzen), Ceresco, Nebraska.

A Memorial Service date will be announced at a later time.
