He is preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Shirley,
He is survived by siblings, Jackie Ray of Hamburg, IA; Steven of Lebanon, TN, Nita Thompson of Council Bluffs, IA; Scott Thompson of Omaha, NE; Gary Thompson of Council Bluffs, IA; Terri Kennedy of Hamburg, IA; step-sister Sarah West of Hamburg, IA; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, May 1st at The Omaha National Cemetery at 3:30pm
