Tabitha Hospice provided excellent care and comfort for his last two weeks. He was born August 23rd, 1938 at his Grandparents home outside Okay, Oklahoma, to the late Charlie and Alberta (Techau) Wilson.
Richard is survived by his second wife Rev. Ann LaMar of Tulsa, his two sons, Brian of Omaha, Nebraska and Clinton of Mercedes, Uruguay, daughters-in-law Shonnie and Selene, sister Sharon (Wilson) Scarborough, siblings-in-law Mike and Eddith Dugger, Bobby and Alma Sadler, Wayne and Beverly Stockton, Ann's children, grandchildren, and sister, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved grandfather Albert and grandmother Naomi Techau, first wife and mother of his children Barbara Jean (Dugger) Wilson, father and mother-in-law Mike and Babe Dugger, sister Crystal Boling, and brothers Charles Wilson and Utah Boling.
Richard Wilson was an extraordinarily considerate man who enjoyed helping others and providing for his family. His work as a sales executive took him to many parts of the country. His position afforded him the opportunity to obtain a private pilot's license and Cessna aircraft. While the plane was useful for work travel, his real joy was flying his family to see relatives in Oklahoma.
He was a wonderful father and a devoted husband. He will be sorely missed and loved forever and always by many.
