It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rochelle Lester, who left us on November 17, 2024, at the age of 57. Born and raised in Omaha, Rochelle touched the lives of everyone she met with her kindness, patience, and unwavering love.

Rochelle is survived by her devoted boyfriend, Jacob Sanders; her children, Josh Smith, Stephen Lester, Dylan Lester, and Aya Morgenstern; and her beloved six cats, who brought her endless joy.

A passionate painter and advocate for animals, Rochelle found peace and purpose in feeding local wildlife and creating art that reflected the beauty she saw in the world. She was a conservative, kind-hearted, and resilient woman—a warrior whose strength was matched only by her capacity to love.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
