Ronald Joseph Eshelman

Ron passed away peacefully at home on Feb 19, 2026 in Omaha, NE at the age of 81. He was born on Sep 10, 1944 in Coral Gables, FL. Ron graduated from Omaha North High School in 1962. Ron served in the U.S. Army Reserve. Ron was married to the love of his life, Barbara on Feb 18, 1967. They had two daughters, Lora and Sue. Ron and Barb were also blessed with two granddaughters, Brittany and Alana. Ron retired from O.P.P.D. after 35 years. Ron loved to: bowl, golf, race cars, race motorcycles, and boat on Table Rock Lake and the Missouri River. His family was the most important and adored part of his life. He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Lora (Michael) Smith, daughter Sue Eshelman, granddaughter Brittany Berry, and granddaughter Alana Smith. Ron will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Sat March 21, 2026 at Elkhorn Eagles Club, 20276 Wirt St. Elkhorn, NE at 2:00pm.
