It is with both sadness and celebration that we announce the passing of Ronald William Strazdas, who left this world peacefully on April 13, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on January 4, 1942, in Omaha, Nebraska, Ron devoted his life to his passions, family, and his work, creating a legacy of love that will continue to resonate within the hearts of those who knew him.

A proud graduate of South High School, Ronnie dedicated over 50 years to the meat packing industry as a skilled butcher, showcasing his hard work and commitment to excellence every day. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him recognized his generous spirit and his zest for life.

Ronnie was not just a dedicated employee; he was a true family man. He is survived by his sons, Shane (Chandra) Strazdas, Donald (Laura) Strazdas; grandchildren, Zane, Zoe, Logan ,Alex and a host of other loving family and friends. Ron's love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life. He cherished the time spent with them, whether it was sharing stories of his days on the job or indulging in his favorite activities.

Ronnie found joy in the outdoors, often seen driving his truck on weekends heading to the nearest lake to fish or shoot trap. He also enjoyed the thrill of keno, but it was his family, above all, who brought him the greatest joy.

The family will honor Ronnie's life with a graveside service at St. John's Cemetery in Bellevue on April 16, 2026, at 10:30 AM.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, John & Betty Strazdas and brother, John C. Strazdas, Jr.
