Rose Ann Prail

With deep love and sorrow, we share that Rose Ann Prail, age 76, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on May 12, 2026, in Omaha. 

Rose was born on February 24, 1950, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Gloria Jean Weber and Robert Louis Morris. 

She retired from the Iowa School for the Deaf, where she served as a dorm houseparent. Rose was deeply devoted to her work and cared for others with kindness, patience, and a generous heart, leaving a lasting impression on the many lives she touched. 

In 1970, Rose married LaMar, and together they shared 48 wonderful years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, family, and lasting memories.

 Rose will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jeff (Jann) and Pamela (Kenton); her grandchildren, Kayla, Kamisha (Lacey), Jacob, and Riley; her great-grandchildren, GloriAnn Rose and Glo’Den Ca’Ron; her siblings, Carol and Robert (Lynn); and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, LaMar; parents, Gloria Jean Weber and Robert Louis Morris; her cousin, Rhoda; her aunts, Rose and Jean; and her uncles, August and Richard.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 3809 N. 90th Street, Omaha, NE 68134.
