Roseanna Hayes

June 6, 1952 — April 10, 2023

Roseanna Hayes was born on June 4, 1952 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was eldest daughter of Henry Sanders Hayes and Essie Ann Billingsley-Hayes. The Lord called Roseanna Hayes home on April 10, 2023.

As a child Roseanna grew up in family church, People Mission Church where Waddell D. Seals was Pastor. Roseanna later joined King Solomon Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Albert Wagstaff.

Roseanna was a loving and devoted daughter to her mother whom she lived with until her mother was called to home to glory. She was a loving sister, aunt, and friend to everyone. Her home was a place of love, happiness, and joy. She dedicated her life to her family. She never had children of her own, but everyone's child she came across was also her child. She loved sports. Growing up she would watch sports with her father. That included baseball, football, and golf. She was a collector of snow globes.

She loved to learn and was an excellent student. After graduating from Central High School, she attended the University of Nebraska of Omaha where she graduated with a degree in education. After college her first job came by chance. She accepted a position at First Data Corporation and was employed there for 25 years. She then was employed as a clerk at the Roman L. Hruska Federal Courthouse for several years.

Preceded in death by father Henry Sanders Hayes; mother Essie Ann Billingsley Hayes; Grandparents Nathaniel and Elizabeth Billingsley.
