Rosemary Harden

Rosemary Harden, age 62, passed away on Sunday February 20, 2022 in Omaha, NE . She was born January 17, 1960 in Pinebluff, AR to James and Erma Lee Harden. Her family were members of Rising Star Baptist Church. Rosemary found great love, loyalty, tenderness, bravery and beauty in all its varied stages of her life. Rosemary was an amazing, loving woman who lived her life with dignity and strength. She will be sorely missed by those of us who were fortunate enough to know and love her. Rosemary's compassion for others transcended ethnicity, religion, gender or age. Most would say that Mama Rose was a mother of the neighborhood because there was never a person (man, woman, or child) that didn't receive a helping hand when it was needed. Thus, just as a rose, her beauty, wisdom, and love will forever be as a sweet fragrance to those who graced her presence. She spoke and acted from a position of fearlessness, from the raw openness of her heart and soul. She is at rest now in God's grace.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Erma Lee Harden, her sons, Quincy Harden and Bar'Quinen Young. Brothers Greg Henson and James Harden Jr.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving children Precise (Jerome) Harper, Donzel and Zelldon Harden. Sisters Sue (Willie) Hensen and Erma Jean (Hulon) Maeweathers. Many Grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

Rosemary will truly be missed by many. She loved fiercely and deeply and we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace surrounded by light.
