Samuel Moessner

Samuel "Sam" Edward Moessner passed away August 30, 2025 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 82 years. He was born October 17, 1942 in Omaha.

Sam's life was dedicated to serving others. Sam served his country as a physician in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Sam graduated from the University of Nebraska and went on to complete his medical training at Northwestern Medical School, later returning to practice Medicine for the majority of his career in Nebraska.

Sam was a devoted Christian, husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Sam is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel F. Moessner and Helen Moessner; and sister-in-law Linda Moessner.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marilyn Moessner; children Melissa Robinson and Mark (Alisha) Moessner; grandchildren Natalie, Victoria, Elizabeth, Eva, Catherine, Luke, and Jacob; brothers Harold (Linda †) Moessner, David (Jeanne) Moessner, and Stephen (Julie) Moessner; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
