A Life Full of Light, Laughter, and Love

Samuel "Sam Sam" Thomas was born in Memphis, TN. to the Late Porter Lee and James Brown. He was a cherished brother to James Jr., James Lee, Andrew, Pat, Janet, Sandra, Linda, Sherman, Ray, and a caring step‑brother to Deborah, Troy, Charles, Shawntelle and Tracey.

Sammy's journey through life wasn't always easy, but his spirit stayed bright. He lived with a heart that was generous, humorous, and full of life. Even in his hardest moments, he carried joy with him - and he shared it freely.

The Life of the Party

If you knew Sammy, you knew laughter.

You knew jokes.

You knew that signature swagger.

He had a way of turning any moment into a memory. His famous one‑liners -

"#1 Stunna," "Google it," and "Drop it like it's hot" - will forever echo in our hearts. He could make you smile when you didn't feel like smiling, and he could lift a room just by walking into it.

Sammy gave joy.

He gave laughter.

He gave love in the way only he could.

Forever in Our Hearts

Though he left this world quietly, his presence was anything but quiet. His spirit lives on in every story, every smile, and every moment he made brighter.

We honor him not for how he left, but for how he lived - boldly, joyfully, and unapologetically himself.

Scripture  - "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." - Psalm 34:18

Rest in Peace, Sam Sam

Your light lives on.
