Sandra Kaye Poulsen

Sandie Poulsen, 84, passed away on August 24, 2026 in Omaha, NE. She was born November 08, 1941 in Emerson, NE. Daughter of the late Herman and Signa Bottger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant brother Herman Jr, and sister Dixie Prokop. She is survived by her 3 children, Traci Poulsen, Calvin Poulsen, and Corey Poulsen (Monica). Beloved sisters Connie (Charlie) Winegardner, and Linda Bottger.

Sandie moved from Spencer, IA to Omaha, NE, in the fall of 1974. She started work at St Paul Insurance company and retired from there in 2006. Sandie was a very social person and loved visiting with friends and co-workers. She loved her Bassett Hounds, she had several. Sandie was an avid reader, she loved British mysteries both in books and TV programs. She also loved crossword puzzles and she could be found doing them often.

Memorial visitation will be at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home L Street Chapel from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 10, 20206. Memorial service will be at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Emerson Nebraska at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 12, 2026. She will be greatly missed.
