Sharolyn Sorensen

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharolyn "Sherry" Sorensen, who left this world on September 11, 2025 surrounded by her devoted family and friends. Though her time with us feels far too short, her life was filled with love, kindness, laughter and unwavering strength.

Born on April 25, 1952 in Sioux City, Iowa, Sherry lived a life rooted in compassion, generosity and joy. She was a beloved wife to Terry Sorensen, a devoted mother to Jill (Dustin) Bieranowski, Jamie (Collin) Ardnt and Tyler (Madi) Sorensen, cherished grandmother to Miles and Blake Bieranowski, and friend to many. Her greatest pride was her family, who were the center of her world.

She was deeply involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren, never missing an opportunity to cheer them on, support their passions and celebrate their milestones. Whether it was school events, sports or family traditions, she was always present - her love and encouragement forming the foundation of every accomplishment.

Sherry had a passion for travel, gardening and listening to live music. She found her greatest joy in moments spent with family and friends - gathering around the table, sharing stories, and celebrating life's simple blessings.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing her legacy of love and strength will carry on in all of us.

A Celebration of Life open house will be held at The Crescent Moon on October 25, 2025 from 11:30-2:30pm located at 3578 Farnam St. Omaha, NE 68131
