Sharon Kay Degroot

Sharon Degroot, age 71, passed away peacefully in Omaha, Nebraska, on May 19, 2021. She was born August 7, 1949 to the late Henry and Louise Degroot in Pipestone, MN. Sharon attended school in Edgerton and Pipestone Minnesota. She was a member of St. Andrew's Methodist Church in Omaha. Sharon enjoyed helping with bible school, spending time with family, reading, and camping.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons James and Chad Miller; grandson Matthew Miller; and sister Carol Zwart; sister-in-law Debbie Degroot; daughter-in-law Mary Jo Miller.

Sharon is survived by her children Todd (Joan) Miller, Mary (Brent) Dougherty, and Lori Miller; 15 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; daughter-in-law Rachel Miller; brother Denny Degroot; sister Pat (Al) Wehrenberg; and brother-in-law Lloyd Zwart.
