Sharon Kaye Beverly

Sharon Kaye (Smith) Beverly was born on January 15, 1952, in Nebraska City, Nebraska to Mary Holmes and Lenard Curtis Jefferson. At age one, she moved to Omaha where she was raised by her mother and stepfather, Cal Holmes. On May 29, 2023, at age 71 and after a short battle with Cancer, she departed God's Earth at precisely 5:23PM while at Chi Lakeside. Though Sharon had succumbed to illness quickly, she lived life to the full extent possible until being called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was truly a woman of sheer tenacity, grit and style and precious gift to all who had come to know her.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents; Mary Holmes, Lenard Curtis, and Cal Holmes; brothers, Cal Holmes Jr. and Tony Holmes; son, Ronald Beverly Jr.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her children: Michael Beverly (Belinda), Reginald (Reggie) Beverly, Roderick Beverly (Rashada), & Faith Beverly-Sapp (Lonnie); thirteen grandchildren: Adontis Cook, Michael Beverly Jr., Marcus Beverly, Regina Clark-Watkins (Josh), Michael Glover, Alecia Steed, Tawanna Young, Rodnesha Beverly, Akayla Beverly, Rod Beverly Jr., Rashad Beverly, Raleigh Beverly, Milani Sapp; seven great-grandchildren; dear friends, Maggie Finley, Beverly Parker & Sandra Collins; sister Daphne Holmes; and a host of other relatives and friends.
