Stephen Demanett

On Sunday, June 27, 2021 Stephen Jon Demanett passed away at age 31.

Stephen was born in Topeka KS October 9, 1989 to Kevin Demanett and Jennifer Hevelone (Demanett) Engel. He attended Millard and Boystown schools in Omaha NE where he enjoyed singing in the choir and sports. He especially liked baseball and basketball. Stephen was also active in Boy Scouts.

Stephens kindness and sweet soul were known to all. He was outgoing and never knew a stranger. He loved music and spending time with family and friends.

Stephen is survived by his parents Kevin Demanett of Omaha NE, Jennifer (Todd) Engel of Omaha, his sons Isaiah and Skylan, brother Brenton Demanett of Omaha, sister Stefanie Demanett Barrett of Pisgah IA, and his grandfather Dennis (Cathy) Hevelone of Missouri. He is also survived by his fiance Carrie Michalski and her son Jax, step siblings and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 3809 N 90th St, Omaha NE has been charged with funeral arrangements. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home Thursday, July 1 at 10:00am.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a college fund that has been established for Stephen's children.
