In Loving Memory of Susan "Susie" Rose Williamson
With hearts forever changed, we announce the birth and passing of our precious daughter, Susan "Susie" Rose Williamson, who was stillborn at 36 weeks of pregnancy.
Though her time with us was far too short, Susie was deeply loved long before she entered the world. She weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and measured 19.5 inches long. She had beautiful black hair and dark features that immediately reminded us of those who came before her. Her great-grandmother would have lovingly called her "her little Indian baby," a nickname that would have been spoken with endless pride and affection.
Susie was named in honor of two remarkable grandmothers who now hold her in Heaven. While our hearts ache that they never met on Earth, we find comfort in believing she is surrounded by their love.
She is cherished beyond words by her parents, Nina Anglim and Brett Williamson, and by her devoted big brothers, Rutledge Williamson and David Williamson. From the moment they learned they were going to have a baby sister, they loved her completely. They dreamed of meeting her, protecting her, and making memories together. She will always be their little sister, and her place in our family can never be replaced.
Although Susie never opened her eyes to this world, she opened our hearts in ways we never imagined. She taught us that love is not measured by time, but by the depth with which someone is cherished. She will forever be a part of our family, our story, and our hearts.
Our beautiful Susie Rose will be missed every day, remembered in every sunrise, every flower that blooms, and every gentle breeze that reminds us she is near. Until we meet again, we will carry her with us always.
"Some people only dream of angels. We held one in our hearts forever."
