It is with both sadness and celebration that we announce the passing of Tahnee Raquel Soukup, who left us too soon at the age of 34. Born on December 28, 1991, in Omaha, Nebraska, Tahnee blossomed into a remarkable woman whose spirit touched everyone around her. She graduated from Benson High School and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Methodist College, dedicating her life to the healing hearts as a Registered Nurse.

Tahnee was a source of light for all who knew her. She was an adventurous soul, always seeking the thrill of the outdoors, whether it was hiking or running through the beautiful Colorado Mountains. Her athletic spirit was matched only by her kindness and compassion, making her a loving mother, beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, and the best friend anyone could ask for.

She is deeply cherished by her two children, Landen and Rowan Watkins, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She was also a devoted spouse to D.j. Watkins, who will cherish all the wonderful memories they made together as a family.

Tahnee is survived by her devoted parents, Cindy Soukup who instilled in her the values of love and family that guided her throughout her life. Survived by her Father Tony Soukup, (Sister) Stephanie Soukup (Demetrius Washington), (Brothers) Trevor Soukup (Corrine Soukup), Cody Soukup, Mother in law Karen Watkins, Sister in law Miquela and brother in law Jace,and wonderful Nieces and Nephews.

In Celebration of her vibrant life, services will take place at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home - L Street Chapel, 4712 S 82nd Street, Omaha, NE 68127 on May 16, 2026, viewing will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM then the family asks you to join us with a luncheon following the service.
